DEADLINE FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSION – March 1st 2014
The steering committee for Art in the Open is pleased to be announcing a call for submissions for this year’s one-day visual art and performance event in downtown Charlottetown on Saturday, August 23rd from 4pm until midnight.
With the theme of “Transforming Tomorrow” local, regional and national artists will converge on downtown Charlottetown to transform its outdoor spaces as a metaphor for the transformation that occurred to our country when another convergence of talent and creative vision took place in downtown Charlottetown 150 years ago. The festival is free to the public, requires no advance tickets, no reservations, is available to all ages and incomes and is promoted in both official languages.
Submissions should be new, innovative and represent your excellence in your field of art.
