On view at the small town Market Gallery, Charlottetown Farmers’ Market from April 27th to June 20th is Social Portraits, new works by Stephen B. MacInnis. McInnis says of the series, “The Social Portrait series explores the idea of how we might wish to be seen as opposed to how we are seen. They are carefully constructed falsehoods, portraits of figures in different forms of anonymous comfort.”
