this town is small and The Guild are pleased to present The Cusp, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Belfast, PEI based visual artist, Damien Worth.
This series of work explores new approaches to depicting landscape in times of transition. Worth believes that the thresholds where worlds collide can be adequate metaphors for current social, political, and economic struggles. These paintings refer to situations where pressure builds to a point of inevitable release. The exhibition’s title “The Cusp” refers to this precarious lip’s edge.
About the artist:
Damien Worth’s work has been exhibited in national and international venues and his paintings are in permanent collections in the Rooms provincial art bank in Newfoundland, the University of New Brunswick Art Centre, and the Confederation Centre Art Gallery in Charlottetown PE.
Monday to Saturday: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
