Peake Street Collective and this town is small are pleased to invite you to a virtual opening for the group exhibition Remote Transmissions, on view at Receiver Coffee from March 15 – April 24.
VIRTUAL OPENING
- 6pm : “A Brief History of Peake Street Collective”
presented by Donnalee Downe
Founding member Donnalee Downe will give a short presentation on the origins of Peake Street Collective, a group that began in 2005 and has been operating under the umbrella of this town is small since 2013.
- 6:30pm – 8pm : “A look at the works in Remote Transmissions“
moderated by Donnalee Downe (PSC) and Lisa Theriault (TTIS)
We’ll look at images of some of the artworks on display for Remote Transmissions and hear from some of the artists and their experiences making artwork during a global pandemic.
