Wearable Art Workshop with Becca Griffin!

Build your outfit for the upcoming Wearable Art Party with us on Sunday, March 9th, from 11am-2pm. Becca Griffin will be there facilitating and helping with your process of costume construction with repurposed/found materials. As an artist, puppeteer, and arts educator, Becca generally works with cardboard, wire, old sheets, or things we might find in a discard pile! We will provide those materials and some tools to help you with your creation (Hot Glue Gun Girls welcome), but feel free to bring your own.

Come and make something unique to you in preparation to partaaaaaay!

Presented in partnership with River Clyde Arts

The event will be held at the Hilda Woolnough Gallery at the Guild. The venue’s front left side door on Queen Street is equipped with an accessibility button, and the staff operates a wheelchair lift for accessible movement between the lobby, theatre, and gallery. All the restrooms are gender-neutral with accessible stalls. There is a small lip near the entrance to keep in mind.

This event is free and open to all ages.

For any assistance during your visit, the staff will be there to help. If you have accessibility questions, please email Alexandra at info@thistownissmall.com
