Sofia Cervantes Romero (she/her) is an intuitive mixed media artist from Mexico City, now based in Charlottetown, PE. She graduated from UPEI with a bachelor's degree in Arts majoring in English.

Sofia's work is characterized by an intuitive free flowing approach that emphasizes spontaneous expression. Her practice centers on introspection, emotional truths, and self-realizations. At the same time, she enjoys the act of creating for its own sake. Sofia also enjoys writing short-form poetry, and is looking to venture into working with textiles.
